The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, urged that the Department of State Security should arrest Fani-Kayode, Director of New Media of the Bola Tinubu Campaign, for his inciting statements.
Phrank Shaibu, Special Assistant on Public Communications to Atiku, in a statement on Sunday, thanked British Envoy, Ben Llewellyn-Jones for naming Fani-Kayode and others making inflammatory statements.
The British ambassador named Fani-Kayode among other individuals for making provocative remarks.
Shaibu emphasized that the Secret Service’s warning to politicians not to overheat the political scene had been botched by the former minister of aviation, Fani-Kayode.
He claimed that if Fani-Kayode were allowed to run wild, Nigeria would descend into complete anarchy.
He exhorted Nigerians to laugh off Fani-Kayode.
“We accept that the DSS’s statement urging lawmakers to avoid overheating the political climate is timely. Nonetheless, he urged the security force to detain Fani-Kayode for ignoring the DSS’s advice when he threatened to make Nigeria unruly.
Remember that on February 13th, the DSS invited Femi-Fani-Kayode due to allegations that Atiku was plotting a coup.
