The Special Intervention Squad (SIS) will be established by Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun to put an end to the current upsurge in abduction, murders, and other acts of heinous criminals in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
When the special activities are implemented, all Area Councils in the country’s capital city would get them, according to the IGP.
According to XK STAFF, the gunmen have attacked and abducted a number of the territory’s citizens in the past several weeks.
Residents were reassured by President Bola Tinubu and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, of their dedication to bringing the security situation under control.
