I’m committed to change the narrative because Nigeria is still in the crawl – Tinubu
Nigeria is “a crawling country in the committee of thriving economies,” according to President Bola Tinubu, particularly when it comes to development indicators that deal with the environment and renewable energy.
Nonetheless, he reassured that as president, he was committed to altering the course of events and establishing a revolutionary administration in the nation.
In addition to discussing the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold his election as President, Tinubu also addressed the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s visit to the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Sunday. He said the ruling had eliminated any unneeded diversion from his political rivals.
“I am aware that Germany has made great strides in environmental preservation and energy modernization to meet the demands of the twenty-first century on the continent and globally in particular. Tinubu addressed the visiting German Chancellor, “We are determined to change the narrative and bring about a transformative government in Nigeria, even though the country is still crawling.”
“It is a profound pleasure for me to welcome my friend Olaf Scholz to Nigeria,” Tinubu remarked, welcoming the team. Seeing you here is a pleasure. at this very moment in time. The Federal Republic of Nigeria’s Supreme Court has rendered a decision regarding our election process.
“The diversion is finished. This allows us more time to concentrate on advancing Nigeria’s economic prospects and prosperity, which will uphold democracy, as well as governance for the people.
“I appreciate you and your group honoring the commitment you made at our most recent tete-a-tete to visit Nigeria. I consider it an honor to have you here.
According to him, Nigeria’s business sector is open to partnering with Germany, which has one of the biggest economies in Europe.
He reminded Scholz that, in addition to being the greatest economy in Africa, Nigeria also enjoys favorable weather, a favorable environment, and abundant natural resources.
“As we shift to a transition energy source, our hydrocarbon sector is still in its infancy from an environmental standpoint.
“You and your delegation are cordially invited to collaborate with us on projects pertaining to power, education, natural resources, and other areas. We’ve made great progress toward ensuring our people’s security.
“We’re battling terrorism, and things are getting better. In that regard, we still require a lot of help. And we must fight for democracy if we are to be able to maintain the rule of law, democracy, and freedom for our people. In order to fulfill the African dream, democracy must always prevail. This is the reason your presence is much needed and appreciated. I’m hoping you’ll have fun.
“As you have probably observed, I won’t go into detail on the several issues that the Sahel region of Africa is facing. You are aware of the coups that occurred in Guinea and most recently in the Niger Republic.
“We had individuals handling the matter diplomatically. We will continue to need your expertise and will recognize the necessity for your assistance with security. We appreciate your previous donations, especially the police and law enforcement training. More aid is required.
Germany is still dedicated to democracy and the rule of law, according to German Chancellor Scholz.
