Hamidu M. Alhaji has been named the acting head of service by Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni.
Mamman Mohammed, the media director for Governor Buni, informed newsmen on Monday that the appointment had been approved.
After Alhaji Garba Bilal, the previous Head of Service, was fired last week, Hamidu M. Alhaji was named as the interim Head of Service, according to the announcement.
“Hon. Mai Mala Buni, His Excellence the Executive Governor of Yobe State, has also authorized the appointment of
Mohammed Alkali Dingiri serves as the state’s comptroller general.
The statement said, “Mohammed Alkali Dingiri was the Director of Treasury prior to his appointment.”
In the same announcement, Governor Buni also gave his approval to the appointments of Bulama Garba as the state’s Director of Treasury and Musa Audu Farafara as its Permanent Secretary.
It stated that the appointments are effective right away.
